About Us

Based in Reidsville, NC. Swim Shop 4x4 Van Conversions was started by Justin Williams by accident. From growing up Jeep racing in the 70s with his family to building and racing 4x4s vehicles. Justin's weekend hobbies turned into him now dealing with off-road vehicles for over 40+ years in his at home shop.

In recent years, his interest in the vanning community grew when his son Seth got a 1986 Chevy hightop to customize. 

As Justin and Seth began going to more van events they got the idea of converting the '86 chevy van to 4x4. After the home-build was finished and the popularity of the van grew around the community the '86 chevy found a new owner and the Swim Shop was born.

Now paired with Justin's knowledge of 4x4s, his son, Seth's creative eye and understanding of custom van culture. They have now built several vans and are in the process of building more with the newest addition to the Swim Shop Ivan Yarber.
